This ministry began as the Parliamentary Prayer Network (PPN) in 1993. After a small group of people gathered to pray in Parliament House, we decided to increase our prayer commitment for the leaders of the nation. Since then hundreds of churches and organisations have received our prayer mail and thousands have prayed for our leaders in groups large and small across the nation. In 2003 we launched the Schools Programme which partners Christian Schools with their local members and senators. These schools pray for their members and senators on a regular basis and build relationships with them. This programme continues and your school is welcome to participate. We have prayed for all levels of government, their families and staff, regardless of their political or religious persuasion. The work of PPN is well regarded in the Parliament.
In 2007 the name of the ministry changed to HeavenActs – the name was given by the Holy Spirit. PPN continues as a ministry of HeavenActs. This was the beginning of a major transition. There has been a shift from prayer ministry to equipping the Ekklesia for positioning in the government mountain, which begins with and will always continue to include worship and prayer. This is happening in the Conquering Government Mountain Workshops across Australia and the nations. In 2010 the Klomp family moved from Canberra to Sydney. This also precipitated more change.

We believe HeavenActs is moving from glory to glory. We are continuing to position ourselves to hear the heartbeat of heaven and move as the Holy Spirit directs. To our supporters who have journeyed with us from the beginning we say well done good and faithful servants. To those who are getting to know us, we say welcome. Together we say Holy Spirit come.
In 2003 we launched ourSchoolsProgramme. Each school is designated one MP to pray for on a regular basis. Schools that join the programme pray for their partnered MP in school assemblies each week. The children at the school write letters and develop a relationship with their Member or Senator.
Our desire is to support and encourage MPs in the
important role that they play in our community. We value the work that they
do.
Schools receive the following items to help them
on their exciting prayer adventure. These include a plaque, and a photo of your
MP with profile, to display in your school. Activities include suggested
prayers for weekly assemblies and two activities for a designated class to
complete. Studies in Government will then be given a practical Christian
application. We also send copies of:
Discovering Australia's Christian
Heritage by Col Stringer
And
How Australia is Governed by Brian
McNamara
All materials are prepared by a qualified school
teacher. PPN can also provide classes on visits to Parliament House. Where
possible, we will involve Christian MPs to emphasise the Biblical
perspective. This is an exciting opportunity for your school to share and
practice the Christian faith in a practical way. Prayer will change our nation.
We invite you to join our programme.
“Our college has been involved in working in
partnership with this ministry in praying for our Parliamentarians. It has been
a tremendous privilege and opportunity for the children and staff. We would
urge you in joining in praying for our nation’s leaders.”

HeavenActs believes that as we seek to do the will of the Father we can bring heaven to earth and see God move powerfully today, and in even greater ways than the book of Acts. We prize unity of heart and purpose.
HeavenActs sees His Ekklesia moving forward, empowered by the Holy Spirit in creative and diverse ways; breaking through barriers and mindsets that are closed to the gospel. As a community of worshippers, God has given us keys to unlock the spirit realm and release His blessing on the earth. These keys are all found in the Word of God. We believe Spirit lead action follows prayer, accompanied by signs and wonders. The cornerstone of our faith is the finished work of Jesus on the cross and the power of his resurrection.
HeavenActs believes that God’s spirit will move through us. This will bring healing and life to individuals and communities, as well as the reformation of nations. We desire to play our part in the Great Commission and we represent the whole body of Christ.
Logo
The HeavenActs logo was given to us during a worship time when Lynne picked up three pens and drew the motif for the first time. There is substantial symbolism in the design. We trust that these truths will inspire us to greater things.
The colours are also symbolic.
